Welcome to the Eighth Eastern Region Division Eleven web site! Division 11 is made up of five Flotilla's in the greater Nashville, TN area. The web site incorporates information for the general boating public and for division members. It is a great source of online content for connectivity between the public and this division.

Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Seal

The United States Coast Guard Auxiliary was established by Congress in 1939 to assist the Coast Guard in promoting boating safety. It boasts nearly 33,000 members from all walks of life who receive special training so that they may be a functional part of Team Coast Guard. Auxiliarists assist the Coast Guard in non-law enforcement programs such as public education, vessel safety checks, safety patrols, search and rescue, marine environmental protection and Coast Guard Academy introduction programs for youth. Auxiliarists volunteer more than 2 million hours annually to benefit other boaters and their families.

You can help the U.S. Coast Guard keep America's water ways safe and secure by participation in its America's Waterway Watch program, a nationwide initiative similar to the well know and successful Neighborhood Watch program that asks community members to report suspicious activities to local law enforcement agencies.
